Frequently asked questions
How do I place an order?
All orders are placed through our website. This ensures artwork, quantities, payments and production details are captured correctly and helps us keep turnaround times consistent.
Do you offer rush or urgent orders?
We do not offer rush orders. Our production schedule is carefully managed to maintain quality and fairness for all customers.
What are your lead times
Our work is produced to order and scheduled carefully. Printed fabric generally takes 7–10 business days. Sewn items require additional time and are typically 4–6 weeks. We do not offer rush orders, and specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
Can you guarantee delivery by a specific date?
We recommend placing orders well in advance, particularly for events. While we provide estimated lead times, we are unable to guarantee specific delivery dates.
Do you close orders during busy periods?
Yes. During peak times (particularly before Christmas), we set firm cut-off dates to ensure existing orders can be completed to standard.
Which fabric should I choose?
Each project is different. We provide detailed fabric descriptions on the website to help guide your choice. If you’re unsure, sampling is strongly recommended.
Why does black sometimes appear softer or grey?
On natural fibres, black pigment ink can appear softer than on synthetic fabrics. This is a known and accepted characteristic of natural fabric printing.
Why does the fabric feel different, and why do dark colours feel firmer than light colours?
We print using pigment inks on natural fabrics such as linen and cotton.
Pigment ink sits on the surface of the fibre rather than dyeing into it. Because of this, areas with more ink coverage will naturally feel firmer to the touch than areas with little or no ink.
-
Dark colours and solid areas require more pigment, which can result in a noticeably firmer hand feel.
-
Light colours, pastels and white areas use less ink and therefore feel softer.
-
Designs with large areas of solid or block colour will feel significantly firmer than designs with finer detail, texture or negative space.
For this reason, we do not accept artwork for printing on natural fabrics that contains large areas of solid block colour. These designs are not well suited to pigment printing on natural fibres and can result in an undesirable hand feel.
This is a known and expected characteristic of pigment printing and is not considered a fault.
Can you guarantee colour accuracy?
Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed. Sampling prior to larger runs is the best way to assess colour and finish.
Can you check my file before printing?
Files are printed as supplied. If you are unsure, ordering a sample is the safest approach.
Can you resize or alter my artwork?
We offer limited assistance, but artwork preparation is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise arranged.
Why is custom printing more expensive than mass-produced fabric?
We print locally on natural fabrics, using skilled labour and professional equipment. Each order is produced individually, not mass-manufactured offshore.
Do you offer embroidery?
Yes. We offer embroidery services for logos, monograms and personalised items.
Can I supply my own items for embroidery?
In most cases, yes. Items must be suitable for embroidery and will be assessed before acceptance.
How is embroidery priced?
Pricing is based on stitch count, setup and production time. Digitising fees are charged separately where required.
Can embroidery be ordered online?
At this stage, embroidery is available by quote only.
